Lunch for Global Village teams
A volunteering campaign for Habitat for Humanity Hawai'i Island.
About This Campaign
About once a month we have a team of 10-20 individuals come from the mainland to volunteer with us for one week on the construction site. During their time with us we bring them lunch each day on the job site for all 5 work days. We are looking for somebody to provide lunch for our volunteers for 2 out of their 5 days with us. This can be as simple as sandwiches and salad or as elaborate as lau lau and poke! We will provide all the paper goods and will set up and clean up. Lunch can be dropped off around 10:00 AM at our Kona or Waimea office or can be brought to the job site while we all enjoy the meal together.

Campaign to Support Habitat for Humanity Hawai'i Island
Habitat for Humanity Hawai'i Island is a non-profit, faith-based organization seeking to break the cycle of poverty by providing affordable home ownership opportunities to low-income families on Hawaii Island.
Established in 2002, our mission is to empower and strengthen families by providing them with a solid foundation from which to build a better life. We are working towards the goal of ensuring that all families have a safe and affordable place to call home.
Our vision is that all residents of Hawaii Island will achieve that through our affordable homebuilding and home repair efforts, which are performed on a no-interest, no-profit basis.
